Since 1957, the firm of G. Tackaberry & Sons Construction Company Limited has been serving Eastern Ontario, specifically the area of Leeds Grenville. Started by George Tackaberry( still head of daily operations), the company has expanded services and equipment to meet customer demand.

Company Head offices and asphalt plant are near Athens, other main locations include Kemptville, sweet's Sand & Gravel in Seeley's Bay and Tackaberry Sand & Stone Ltd. in Perth. With a commitment to job saftey and aggregate resources management, the company has a full time safety/ Property Manager and certified Quality Control Technician on staff.

The company has aggregate material for a variety of customers from the home gardener to the commercial builder. Products include crushed stone and gravel, asphalt, sandfill, topsoil, washed sand and ornamental stone. Truck and heavy equipment rentals are also available with operator.

Through the years G. Tackaberry & Sons Construction has been a contributor to many area initiatives; both finanically and in-kind with equipment, material and generous volunteer employees. Community events and area youth are the core recipients of donations; but numerous local health organizations and civic group are also assisted.

The company is proud to say" Serving Beautiful Eastern Ontario Since 1957 and gives back to the region it serves.
