Athens Cornfest

Cornfest is organized by the Athens District Chamber of Commerce. Scheduled for the 3rd Saturday in August, Athens’ Cornfest is an annual village festival that allows you to be welcomed into the heart of village life. A few of the many features include live music all day long and fresh buttered corn made using power from an old fashioned steam engine.

Throughout the day there are many other attraction including:

- A Petting Zoo
- Kids' Parade - filled with bicycles, ponies and more
- Pony Rides
- Food - including corn, corn fritters, fresh pies, corn donuts, BBQ's and more
- Boy Scout Breakfast
- Sidewalk Sales
- The traditional Cornfest dance, held from 7:00 pm until 1:00 am in the morning.
