The Canadian Approach to Diplomacy

Joe Jordan, a federal member of Parliament and the Parliamentary secretary to the Prime Minister.

Joe Jordan was able to come in to our classroom for an interview on March 21, 2003. During the interview he gave us his opinions on the four main topics of our project, as well as important information on current events that Canada is involved in around the world.

Percy Steacy, an enforcement officer who works for the Canadian Immigration office at the Ivy Lea Bridge.

Percy Steacy spoke to us about the new precautions and procedures that are being taken at the Canadian border crossings. He also explained the new technologies that are being distributed to immigration offices across Canada and the increase in national security.

We conducted an email interview with Bob Gollinger. He is a retired high school teacher as well as a peace activist who has been a member of Amnesty International for several years.
