Lorrie Maruscak

Lorrie Maruscak is the Artist who has painted the popular "Train Station" mural. Her work on the Mural was done in a period of about 3 months during the summer. Lorrie is homegrown in our very own Athens, Ontario. She attended public school here, and also had a successful tenur at Athens District High School.

This popular artist attended Sheridan College and earned a degree in an Illustration program which took her 3 years to complete.

Now successfully working in Graphics and Decorating, this self employed artist works out of her home in Kanata, Ontario, creating graphics on computers.

Other murals that she has contributed to are the murals displayed in the school cafeteria of Athens District High School, and the mural that is in the Biology room of Athens.

Painting all of her life, Lorrie has grown up with the influences of famous painters like Tamara De Lampicka.

Lorrie Maruscak has made a great contribution to the village of Athens, and her work will be admired for many more years to come.
