This 22' by 8' mural, located inside the Murals Cafe, was painted in 1997, by artists Sheila Ballantyne and Sergio Lopes. It took approximately one month to complete. The whole mural, unlike the others around Athens, came completely from Ballantyne's imagination.
The mural depicts a social gathering on the wrap-around porch of an old stone home. The family in the foreground is actually the owner of the cafe, his wife and daughter. The title for the mural comes from the boy in the center of the mural. His foot actually extends out of the surface of the painting and onto a porch step.
