Who Creates Pop Culture?

[The Media] [The Teens] [Influential People] [Large Companies and Corporations] [All the Above Create]

We now know what pop culture is, but who creates it? There were about 30 people from around the world who chose to share their opinions on this subject. These people thought certain celebrities were involved in creating pop culture and others who thought that us, teenagers and young adults, were responsible for its creation. There were also people who agreed that the media created pop culture and those who thought that a combination of all of the above were involved in creating pop culture.

In the section labeled The Media you will find that we have broken down for you exactly what the media is as described to us by those who participated in our project.

The Teens is a section dedicated to those who agreed that without the input of us there would be no creation of pop culture. Located here is the opinions of all those who felt strongly that without the approval of teens everywhere there would be no Britney Spears, JLo or other popular people who we look up to.

Influential People is a section that consists of the people who thought that celebrities like Britney Spears and Julia Roberts influenced our decisions in pop culture, therefore created it by influencing us.

The section called Large Companies and Corporations is about people who though that pop culture was manufactured by the people who held the most money in their hands. These people thought that large companies and corporations created pop culture by taking a regular person and changing everything about them and putting them in the public's eye.

The final section entitled All the Above Create is a section dedicated to those who thought that a combination of the media, us, influential people and large companies and corporations created pop culture.
