How about Britney Spears? Number one popular choice for music discussions in Blackboard. People felt that she is a good role model for younger teenagers, and some disagreed and felt that she gives out a negative message in her songs, and is not very popular. Britney has been in commercials, magazines, and even a movie and is internationally known.
Rap was also a popular choice in Blackboard. People enjoy listening to the beat, and like the image portrayed by rappers. Teenagers seem to look up to them as role models, and enjoy the different things they rap about. Outkast, Eminem, Ja Rule, Ludacris, Nelly, Choclair, DMX, and Ashanti were the popular choices for rap.
Drums are a hot instrument that are played by students at Athens District High School.
