The Business Software Alliance is the largest anti piracy coalition it has many large companies as members and is present in most countries. The most interesting part of the site is the global piracy surveys in the resource center.

The Canadian Association Against Software Theft is the Canadian arm of the BSA it has the same content except its regional.

Napster was perhaps the greatest impact on music piracy in recent years and popularized peer to peer technology. It's harmless now ,its impossible to obtain anything illegal and they are going to start a pay service also. But it effect is still here from the many file sharing programs it spawned.

Adobe is one of the largest software companies in the word and therefore hit very hard by piracy. Especially since most of their software cost $500+. In the anti piracy section you can lean all about the negative effects of piracy and how to protect yourself.
