Tagwi (pronounced TUGWA) is an Algonquin word meaning 'meeting place'. Tagwi Secondary School is a regional high school serving a rural-based population in the tri-counties of Stormont, Dundas, and Glengarry in the province of Ontario, Canada. Our student population consists of approximately 530 students with a teaching staff of 31. In addition to a wide range of academic courses, there are programs in Business and  Commerce, Design Technology, Special Education and the Arts.

The Latin inscription on the school crest "Simul Discemus" translates as "together we shall learn". The Latin phrase and the Algonquin school name allude to the coming together of people from several communities to share and enhance their education and knowledge.
